Changes at the Clinic

  • A thorough COVID-19 risk assessment has been carried out and additional cleaning, handwashing and hygiene protocols have been put in place.

  • A deep clean of the clinic areas has been carried out prior to reopening, and all clinic areas have been cleared of non-essential items. There will be a function over style approach for the time being!

  • All areas will be cleaned fully between clients and appointments will be spaced to allow adequate time to do this.  This also means that there will be no more than one client on the premises at any given time.

  • I am required to wear PPE for all appointments, which includes a visor and gloves.  This is precautionary and should not be seen as cause for alarm.

  • I will be checking my own temperature twice daily and should there be any suggestion of symptoms or fever I will cancel and rearrange appointments in line with the rules and timeline for self-isolation in case of a suspected COVID-19 infection. My COVID-19 declaration will be posted on the clinic entrance door and a copy can be provided upon request.

Changes for Clients

  • You must not attend if you, or someone you have been in contact with, is symptomatic or has tested positive for Covid-19 in the last 14 days. If in any doubt please cancel and rearrange. The cancellation policy will not apply should symptoms suddenly develop or you become aware that you have been in contact with someone with COVID-19. (24 hours notice must still be given for all other reasons.)

  • You will be required to complete an online COVID-19 screening/ declaration form prior to your appointment, even if you are an existing client. (Clients who are recovering from COVID-19 may need to seek medical clearance prior to treatment, I will contact you if further information is needed.)
  • You will be contacted the night before treatment to ensure you remain well and understand the safety processes in place.
  • Key workers are asked to change out of work clothing and shower before attending appointments, particularly those in front-line roles.
  • You should come unaccompanied (unless you must be accompanied by a guardian) and arrive as near as possible to your appointment time.
  • You will be subject to a non-contact body temperature reading on arrival.

  • You are asked to minimise any personal belongings you bring with you to your appointment e.g. watches/jewellery, bags, coats etc.

  • The waiting area and toilet facilities will not be available for client use until further notice. Please use the toilet before leaving home.

  • You are required to use the hand sanitiser provided on arrival and departure.

  • You are asked not to touch anything you don’t need to, including door handles and surfaces. I will open doors for you where possible.

  • You will be asked to put any clothes etc. on to the chair provided.

  • You are required to wear a face covering for the appointment (unless you meet the criteria set out by the government for those that do not need to wear one). If you do not have one a mask can be purchased on arrival for a small fee (£1).

  • Payment will be by electronic means only, either bank transfer in advance of the appointment or card payment at the appointment. No cash please.

  • You agree that your details may be released for contact tracing purposes if necessary.

Remember: Please stay at home if any of the following apply:

  • You have a high temperature – this means you feel hot to the touch on your chest or back. (You do not need to measure your temperature but if you do a reading above 37.8 °C is considered a fever in adults.)

  • You have a new, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual).

  • You have a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste – this means you've noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal.

  • You live with someone with any of these symptoms.

  • You have been told to self-isolate by a test and trace service.
