Changes at the Clinic

  • A thorough COVID-19 risk assessment has been carried out and additional cleaning, handwashing and hygiene protocols have been put in place.

  • All areas will be cleaned fully between clients and appointments will be spaced to allow adequate time to do this.  This also means that there will be no more than one client on the premises at any given time.

  • I will wear PPE for all appointments, which includes a mask and gloves.  This is precautionary and should not be seen as cause for alarm.

Changes for Clients

  • You must not attend if you are symptomatic or have tested positive for Covid-19 in the last 10 days. If in any doubt please cancel and rearrange. The cancellation policy will not apply should symptoms suddenly develop or you become aware that you have been in contact with someone with COVID-19. (24 hours notice must still be given for all other reasons.)

  • You will be required to complete an online COVID-19 screening/ declaration form prior to your appointment, even if you are an existing client. (Clients who are recovering from COVID-19 may need to seek medical clearance prior to treatment, I will contact you if further information is needed.)

  • You should come unaccompanied (unless you must be accompanied by a guardian) and arrive as near as possible to your appointment time.

  • You are asked to minimise any personal belongings you bring with you to your appointment e.g. watches/jewellery, bags, coats etc.

  • The waiting area and toilet facilities will not be available for client use until further notice. Please use the toilet before leaving home.

  • You are required to use the hand sanitiser provided on arrival and departure.

  • You are asked not to touch anything you don’t need to, including door handles and surfaces. I will open doors for you where possible.

  • You will be asked to put any clothes etc. on to the chair provided.

  • You are encouraged to wear a face covering for the appointment (unless you meet the criteria set out by the government for those that do not need to wear one). If you do not have one a mask can be provided on arrival.

Remember: Please stay at home if any of the following apply:

  • You have a high temperature – this means you feel hot to the touch on your chest or back. (You do not need to measure your temperature but if you do a reading above 37.8 °C is considered a fever in adults.)

  • You have a new, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual).

  • You have a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste – this means you've noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal.

  • You live with someone with any of these symptoms.
