It is a deep form of soft tissue work that can be used to reduce pain and discomfort, aide recovery from injury, help improve flexibility and range of motion, relieve tension and stiffness, release trigger points and muscular adhesions, help relaxation and improve mental well being. It is also beneficial for those involved with sports to help prepare for, or recover from, events, prevent injury and improve performance.

Many conditions can be treated, including:

- Sports Injuries

- Repetitive Strain Injuries

- Back Pain

- Sciatica/Piriformis Syndrome

- Tension Headaches

- Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) Disorder

- Plantar Fasciitis

A full assessment will be undertaken to ensure treatment is appropriate for you, and a variety of massage techniques will be used to ensure the best outcomes. These may include Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilisation (IASTM), Soft Tissue Release (STR) and Muscle Energy Technique (MET), along with more traditional types of massage technique. Kinesiology Taping may also be used, where appropriate.
